The twelve signs of the zodiac

The Year of the Water Dragon

The Year of the Rabbit draws to a close and revealed the importance of solidarity during difficult times. On the 23rd of January 2012 starts the Year of the Water Dragon. The Dragon is the most popular Chinese sign of the zodiac and the favorite lucky charm in Asia. It was the symbol of the Chinese Emperor who ruled from his Dragon throne. His exemplary life following Confucian principles should have a positive influence on the rest of the world.

Persons born in the year of the Rabbit often have high work ethics and great adaptability. They treat others thoughtfully and courteously although they sometimes are superficial and do everything to please and to achieve their goals. The Rabbit tends to manipulate by flattery and when he is bored he gets cranky. He cannot tolerate too much stress and his indulgence might diminish his efficiency.

Persons born in the Year of the Dragon often possess a strong leadership personality. They are regarded as responsible and purposeful and are not discouraged by obstacles. They thrive on challenges; will power, self confidence and diligence helping them to achieve prosperity, happiness and power. Dragon persons are healthy and long-living, reliable, honest, courageous and you can always count on them. The generous Dragons want to lead by example. They crave harmony and justice and are full of charm and optimism.

However, they tend to be perfectionists and are quick-tempered when something doesn't quite turn out as they had planned.

The Dragon Year 2012 is dominated by a spirit of optimism and renewal. Previously difficult projects can be achieved by sheer enthusiasm and euphoria. However beware of exaggerated optimism! Keeping a cool head will help to use the positive energies of the Dragon Year to achieve your ambitious goals which will have extensive consequences. 2012 will bring all kind of surprises.
