The twelve signs of the zodiac

The Year of the Rat

The Chinese year of the rat started 7 February 2008 and ended 25 January 2009. Persons born in the year of the rat are considered to be clever and intelligent, self-assured and optimistic. They tend to be perfectionists; hence they work hard to achieve their goals. In financial matters they are prudent- sometimes even stingy - and avoid lending money. They get along well with persons born in the year of the dragon, the monkey or the ox. Due to a sense of humour and a lot of charm the rat gets along well with fellow men. The sign of the rat equals professional success and high flexibility.
