Chinese Moon Festival (Mid-Autumn Festival)

Greetings:
"Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!" or
"Happy Moon festival"

Background
In ancient times the emperors offered a sacrifice to the sun in springtime and to the moon in autumn. Later aristocrats and literary men followed the emperors' example and venerated the bright full moon in autumn. (Data source: Wikipedia)

According to legend however, the history of the Moon Festival is quite

different and started thousands of years ago with a beautiful woman who wanted to remain forever young and beautiful. Her husband received a pill from the goddess of the East, which, as a reward for a good deed, would grant him eternal life. Not knowing the side effects his wife swallowed secretly the pill. Slowly she lost so much weight that she floated up to the moon. According to legend a rabbit also inhabited the moon but that's an entirely different story.

What significance does the festival have in the business world?
How should you handle it?

The celebration of the Moon Festival requires a moon cake. You can buy it or you receive it as a gift from friends or from your boss. Businesses embrace this festival as an occasion to present their customers with moon cakes to consolidate relationships. Moon cake deliveries arranged by businesses take place every which way in all cities; this regularly triggers serious traffic chaos.
